Gary Lewis

Gary Lewis is President of Lewis Reliability Resources LLC, a service integration, business development and knowledge transfer company based in Mooresville, NC. Representing a portfolio of world-renown experts in Material Science, Inspection, and Welding Related Construction field services.  He is most recognized for his 15+ year contribution to Quality improvements and Innovation in the area of field Heat Treatment.  He is a 1982 Industrial Engineering Graduate of Georgia Tech in Atlanta.

Lewis began his career in the Air Compressor Group of Ingersoll-Rand company, specializing in design, application engineering, advising owners and contractors on engineered compressor and pump systems in Energy, Aerospace and Snowmaking services.

Mr. Lewis joined Miller Electric in 2000 as the Director of Business Development of a new Business Unit focusing on Specialty Piping and Advanced Welding applications in Global Energy sectors.  Gary was part of the original product development and technical operations team that launched a customer driven, flexible induction heating platform to the field, which provided the basis for his immersion into the business of field heat treatment.

In 2006, Gary joined Superheat FGH, as Global Director of Business Development and Innovation, collaborating with Power Companies, Refiners and Engineering Contractors to improve the Quality of Field Heat Treatment, through advanced Control technologies, Productivity innovations and Project Management strategies, around the world.  Having expertise in all forms of heating, Gary continues his work through ongoing research, development, technical speaking and training all over the world, driven by increased use of Creep Strength Enhanced Ferritic steel, the need for execution optimization, quality assurance, safety and education at all levels.

Gary is a member of AWS, API, ASME and the Institute of Industrial Engineers.
